Crystal parrot?

Does anyone have an idea about how to produce crystal parrots? They come from male red Texas x female red parrot? Or something else? Have been trying to find some info but didn’t find much though. Thanks

That is the most common method from what I've heard but I've also heard of them using Flowerhorn and Red Mammon as well. Btw don't expect all of them to come out as red and short bodied, you will end up with a good number of long bodies as well as natural colored fish. Most if not all the species mentioned are hybrids of several species mixed together, so you'll end up with a whole mixed bag of traits showing up while ya may only get about 5-10% of the total spawn that looks the way ya want. So if ya want to breed for crystal parrots you'll have to be prepared to do allot of culling.
