Much to my dismay yesterday I noticed my 6 inch delhezi has developed a curved spine; I know it is common in some cb polys. It's in the front 1/3 of his body, right where his first couple spines are. I've noticed a hunch-backed appearance for a while but he was always sitting in the plants so I assumed it was just the position he was in. It also appears that he can't straighten out completely; he is slightly C shaped starting at the hunch. He cruises along the bottom just fine but has difficulty staying upright in open water. He's eating fine and I've never seen any sign of trauma; none of the other polys bother him. He still has his external gills, I wonder if they have remained because it's easier than swimming up for air. I'm just looking for opinions on what I should do; is this going to shorten his life or impact his quality of life? Anything I can do to help it? (75g with 1-2 40% wc/wk, ammonia and nitrite 0, nitrate <20, low 80's temp) Sorry for the potato pics; had to blind him with the flash last night.
