I buy a bunch of this pink or blue filter stuff when it’s on sale. I put it on top of my overflow. My overflows are filled with bioballs. These filters are easy to change. I hate tank maintenance so I make it as easy as possible.

This is stored under the tank. Takes me 5 minutes a week to replace these filters. Water changes are automatic with a trickle system. KISS
