Beautiful set-up. Simple, natural, and clean. May I know what sand you used?

Its just called "builders sand" from the local building supplies place.

Love the tank and set up its spot on. I wanted to put the filter behind the wall like you have, but got told off lol gr8 idea!

I'm in love with your setup.

Amazing tank David, i am lucky enough to have seen it in the flesh. Background looks totally natural, as does the rest of the aquascape. Well done. Just keep your fingers crossed for that aro now.

increddible!!! How thick is the glas ?
I'm planning on building my own aqua but i'm unshure about gluwing this thing together...

Thank you for the info!

It really is a beautiful set-up. Im a big fan of the natural simple look, Enrico Richter set-ups are great and very much along the same line -

Cool pics, thanks! There's a lot of detailing I could do to improve the natural look of mine, its still fairly basic. A bit of gravel to give the substrate some variety, some river rocks, a bit of algae and maybe even some leaves would finish it off nicely.

Its 12mm glass all round. If you're unsure about it then its probably best to leave it to someone who knows what they're doing if you're thinking of making something this big, the consequences of it going wrong are pretty serious!! Or at least get some practice with smaller tanks first, even cutting the glass is an art. I was amazed at how easy the tank maker I use makes it look. A good glass cutter and straight edge would be a good start.
