I had the same idea. I have a ton of shed slaying around but i was more woried about the sharp ends. I was concerned that someone may swim into it and get hurt. It looks realy good though. Good luck.

If you're worried about sharp points, dull them up on a grinder. You may want to open the windows first since it'll smell like drilling teeth/burnt hair.

visciousconvict , forgot to say thanks for the detailed reply.

but i dont know where i could get ethanol from

Shark jaws should really be sealed with epoxy before using them as tank decorations. The jaws are made of cartilage, instead of bone, and they'll soften and break apart fairly quickly if kept in a warm water tank.

I already made a thread on this but, here it goes. What about if I crack, drain, and take the fleshy stuff out of a coconut? Could I put that in a tank?

Been using cocnuts for years. Go check the post in the other thread.

What type of epoxy/sealers are safe for fish? I've all kinds of stuff that would be cool in my tanks and have thought of this before but I chickened out cause i didn't know what to use.:duh:
