Wow what a nice tank.... I'm curious on whether or not you have temperature problems when it gets really hot out? We've had a mild summer this year but what happens when its really hot?

I'd love to make a fish room out of a garage once I move into a house.

luckily ive had no problems so far with this sacramento heat. i think part of the reason is because its so much water and because its acrylic, better insulator. the temp in the garage has gotten over 100 and the tank still stays in the 80s

that's good to hear.. so when I tell the wife I want a monster tank in the garage I will tell her that it has to be at least 400 gallons. "for temperature reasons"
