This sump is for my 29gal, I plan to make the overflow using 1" pvc, The return pump that i am using is the "quiet one 1200". The output size is 1/2"MPT, should I keep the return plumbing 1/2" all the way back to the tank. The head height is just over 3.5 ft. Any recommendations on the overflow and the return plumbing.

thanks, I was planning on putting in a bio wheel just in front the lip where the water would fall into the drip plate, but thought it would be alittle too much. :)
