Two more reasons for a DIY tank:
1) The tank is going to have an odd shape? Check out: "TheFishGuy's" DIY it has a deep end! lol
2) Moving a large tank into an existing structure. Max size tank I can get into my fish room is 6' long. If I want anything bigger I will have to assemble it in that room.
