DIY Metal Stand for 180 gallon

one idea tho, if you make the stand out of angle for the 500gal, run a couple pieces diagonally in between the supporting legs from corner to corner, won't cost a lot more but it adds a lot to the structural integrity.

I was thinking the same thing this morning when I saw how he built this one. We would have to sit down and design more structural strenght for the 500 gallon. It doesnt cost more at all but (well it doesnt cost me anything besides some beers and a dinner) it would cost me a ton if something happen (causing a flood).

if you want, give me the outside deminsions of the stand you are planning or just an idea of what you are planning and i'll get you a sketch with a material list for minimum and sugested material, and if you happen to have program that can read .dxf files or .dwg files i could even send you a autocad drawing, or just send it as a pic.

let me know when you need some help to carry the monster tank, ill be glad to help out. i went to nph on the 23rd, took a couple of friends out on my skiff. i would like to go fishing, but one of my friend closed the car door on my rod and it broke the tip, so now i have to find a replacement if i do go.
