DIY Pond filter idea (with cool pic of blueprint) :)

I used an up-flow filter system in mine water entered from the middle of the tub to drop down and come out of the bottom in a circle motion. Then goes up through several big floor scrubbers then into small scrubbies and is topped of with water Hyacinth to polish water. the water falls about four feet when entering the filter and the PVC pipe is filled with big nylon mesh to help oxygenate the water as it falls. I will try to get pics. Here in Colorado my pond is just now staying ice free over night.

i wouldnt do bioballs cuz they prob wont get a good drip off the sponges, go with like seachem pond matrix or ceramic
