No i am not. my next stand will not have any 2x4's it will just be a plywood shell like the stand for my 240 was. i would of built this stand like that too and biscuit joint everything but my table saw was stolen..

the BJ are a small piece of wood that connects panels together. almost looks like a small football

They help to make glued joints stronger by providing more surface area for the glue to adhear to, aswell as providing support via the interlocking of the pieces... Quite effective and strong when done properly
