Do Black belt cichlids have aggression issues?

Compared to other cichlids do they have an issue with aggression?
Also what is there scientific name?

It is aggressive but not as much as it's relatives.

a man brought his in to my LFS about 3 months ago (about 10") and we put it in a 120 with a red devil, alligator and red tail and it wiped out the entire over night. So in my experiences its a very aggressive fish

There's one at my lfs for 50$ @ 13" it is alone, so I have no clue.

i had one once that was right up there with red devil's aggression. i sold it after it killed off a few of my fish

But for now a 75g.

My blackbelt was one of the more aggressive fish I've ever kept...so much so that I had to get rid of him after a couple of weeks

A fish took out a reptile???
I have to see this fish!!!
I've heard they can be pretty nasty, but taking out a gator is not called aggression, thats straight up psycho!!!
