Almost all species of cichlids, to some degree, have teeth. Some are more prominant than others, especially in the Parachromis genus...where the psuedocanines are easily seen. Even herbivourus fish have teeth...;). Just cuz you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't there! ;) Predatory fish need them to hold onto their prey, herbivourus fish need them to scrape/chew up their food.

Ya know, I'd like to see that too. I've taken many other shots of homer with his mouth open but I never see that far back. The tongue is usually in the way. It's harder to get shots of Homer like that than one would think. He won't bite the glass at me, only at reflections and stuff. If I come up to the glass he'll bump it a bit, but never gnash his teeth like that now.
