I have seen my female stingray trry to sting a very horny male but did not push through with it. I guess, it will also try to do it to a pesky tankmate.
I currently have my tig in a ray pond w/ my rays. The tig is 15" and it has worked out fine so far. I have noticed some bite marks on the tig though, but at this point he is still smaller than some of his tank mates.
