Dan I might have to pilfer that photo and post it on the car forum that I'm on.

I've seen an actual 4x4 muscle car ... took a foxbody mustang and put it on an AMC Eagle 4x4 drive ... funky looking car.

There are a few SN95 Mustangs done as 4x4 as well. Some are bodies on other vehciles, a few are full on custom builds to run around in the dunes.

The key to getting them warrantied will be just like the diesel pickups. Be a good customer at a small dealer that can't afford to loose business and they'll warranty it.

I work at a small one. People pull programmers before bringing trucks in. We know it's been trifled with, but are so hard up for work we won't void the warranty.

Sad but true. :(

To add fuel to the fire, I heard a rumor from inside that the new 2015 Roush S3 is already ticking off lower 1/4 mile times during testing.
That means this 'title' will only be held until the those Mustangs hit the dealer lots in a few months.

Matt I've seen photos of it and it's nice,in fact I'm really liking the current Mustangs and already have it on my next car short list.

Yeah, Ford used the Roush blower on an otherwise stock 2015 GT and pushed it into the 10s. With the added advantage of the rumored continued use of the "Aluminator" motor in the Roush version, a more aggressive Roush tune, Roush suspension and sticky tires - I would guess low 10's right off the lot. I think alot will come down to the new IRS the Mustang got.
