I was merely saying i could relate to the current trend or whatever this "backflipping" thing is. In our case it was simply a boys will be boys type of gag and i dont think we were harming the fish much. I mean if only y'all had witnessed the nerve of those sunnies...

The question might better be asked 'how might these shenanigans go over if performed in front of the boys from F&G?

Not trying to be a db here I just don't see how that might bring anyone joy.

Guess it depends on if there’s a specific law regarding that. I don’t know since I don’t fish or hunt

Several laws exist for the protection of fish and game in specific ways and there's a general catch all law that states something about molesting fish or game as well. Molest as in harass or annoy.

I've harvested both fish and game in years past and don't have any qualms about taking either. I've poached a time or two long ago and have done a few other things that would go over like a turd in the punchbowl were an F&G man around however, I've never treated either disrespectfully for whatever joy that might bring (some).

Point taken. Ill be honest here. Ive fished and hunted with many crews and the reaction of each when faced with encroaching fuzz was on a wide spectrum ranging from "smile and wave" to "run like hell".

I do know the last fish and game officer who insisted to measure my tog thought it was a sheepshead, which totally screwed with my head because where i fish there is not only no creel limit on sheepshead but also no minimum size...so not much to say about their competency lately.
