According to All Glass their site says the weight of a 125gallon is 177lbs.
And the 125gal from marineland is 160lbs according to the email I got from the customer service rep.

The 4x2x2 125 is lighter than the "long" 125...I'm gonna have to check this at work on Sat lol.

I was under the impression that the higher tanks were HEAVIER than the long ones because they use thicker glass.
On AGA's site. the 110Xhigh is listed as being heavier than the 125 long. and the 120high (4ft tank) is also a bit heavier than the 125long (6ft tank)

How big is this guy? I just picked up another Perfecto 75gal on boxing day and there is no way I could carry that by myself. Just the weight if in a smaller physical size, OK, but a 4 foot long tank?

:D Weakling.

Even if you could lift 150-200 pounds easily, the tank is 4 feet long and 18 inches wide. I don't see how one person could hold it.

I have done it several times and i am the only one at my store that can lift one alone. Granted its not fun or easy but its doable. Probably helps that i am 6'3'' and have a similar reach.
