Dog keeps eating fish food!!!

I know how that goes my cocker spaniel Harley always steals the fish food and chews up the cans and eats all the food. He does this all the time and I hide it everywhere and he always manages to find it. He has never gotten sick from it.
I have also found that the flake food he loves to eat and lick them out and they start to stink after he does it.

I feed dog food to my pacus. Also my dogs don't touch the fish food because they know theyll get their butts kicked. I do have problems with one of our cats throwing cans of fish food around until they open all over the floor so she can eat it.

try putting it someplace really high where only a human can reach it.

the only high places I have is the bar and the frigerater. I am afraid it will get lost on the frigerater and the bar is where I keep it by the tank and Harley jumps up there when I am not watching. But it is okay he can eat it as long as he does not get sick. I don't mind buying more.

If you keep a very large fish, well the dog is now gut loaded and ready to add to the tank.

My cat finds Hikari sinking carnivore pellets irresistable.
She opened the cabinet door with her paw and ate a whole bag. :irked:

lol

I wouldn't just let him keep eating it for obvious reasons.

My dog follows me when I feed my fish. She stops at each tank and set up and begs. She likes the krill that I feed to the Arro. the best. She is also the best portable vaccum spots a spill and sucks it up fast.

My cats don't really go for the fish food, but they sure love the water in the betta bowl. And one cat has actually developed a strange liking for cashews:screwy:
