This is one of my favourite Cenotes, its beautiful when the sun shines down on it, the sailfin mollies colour is stunning! Nice video again Duanes.

It was interesting that in 2012, in both Eden and Cristalino, there were more large JDs, and even more large mollies than in 2013. Some of the adult mollies, were almost the size of adult JDs in 2012. But in 2013 it seemed as if 2/3 or the population of each had vanished.
Don't know if the heavy rains had dispersed them into the forest, or somewhere else, or ?
In 2013 all the cenotes I had visited the year before had much higher water levels.
Notice how the one below is overflowing its banks.

I think you are right about what happened between 2012 and 2013. I read one article that this happens a lot w/ certain populations of fish in Mexico. The one I read was by Juan Miguel on thorichthys meeki. He noticed that meeki and pasiones are typically found together but one year there will be more meeki and the next more pasiones. I'm not 100% certain why this happens though.
