I use it daily but today its not working properly. Changed the batteries and it seems like its not powerful enough to pick anything up.

Is there a fix or do i need to buy a new one ?

Ive had it for over a year

Should have a 2 year warrantee...

I heard that this is constant problem with this eheim batery wac. My aquarium equimpent suplier never lie :) He say to me don't buy it. It's great idea but it's to weak motor.

It worked great for a little over a year then just lost power. I think its a great product but was wondering if there was a fix.

??? if power goes out, how does it not drain all the water outta the tank? is this intake on the main pump, or do you use a secondary smaller pump just for this?

Although feces are unsightly, they are not as much a true problem as the unseen urine produced constantly by freshwater fish.
I find if I'm are going to take the time to vac, I might just as well use a siphon, take out a gallon of old water with the feces, and replace with new water.
Every water change no matter how small, removes urine, hormones, and replaces minerals that help buffer, and does wonders for water stability.

Toatally aggree duanes but the using vac is super quick literally 2 minutes. And its purely for appearence
