Their mouth extends far with the back hinge all the way under the eye and looks like the mouth of a pike, or a salt water barracuda. To me, it doesn't look small. Ours could swallow a whole 6"-8" herring easily and greedily while only 1.5ft-2ft in length themselves.

Yep. There's a 4ft fence around the edge but my mahseers still manage to jump over.
