Within the last few minutes the Palmas has bitten sparky 3 times

I’m thinking he may just be hungry, so I am thawing tilapia. I also it in another plastic plant. It seems the mokes hiding spot is the sponge filter, and the reason the Palmas isn’t nipping him is because he can’t fit under it! Sparky doesn’t have anywhere to hide.
