Looks great. Good to know how easy it is to remove the excess. At least now I know for any future projects I may have my questions and doubts has been answered on this thread... Good job..... In the end this probably should be a sticky as it provides great detail instructions for back ground installation.

One thing to note if you use the foam is it expands allot. I would avoid it if your putting together seams you don't want to show. I doubt this would become a sticky, I'm way to OCD to do anything fast and way too ADD to start and finish one thing at a time. This has to be the most random bounce around thread ever..

Looks awesome.

My sincere apologies to those of you following this thread. I will not be home for the next week or so. I'll pick up the thread where I left off, when I retuurn.

Clockwork, my wife is driving me down south. The background you ordered will be here this afternoon along with my stuff. I PM'ed you her number. GL brother.. here is the tracking number if you need it: 1ZV4243W0398385825

I tried to make the best of a really tough trip and "had my way" with CL in a different city. :naughty: These might seem like simple things but some were really bugging me and I needed to tie up a couple loose ends. I got a few smoking good deals on some things I need and some to flip and get me some filter cash this week.

I picked up a really nice 55 gallon glass, stand/canopy, heaters, lights etc... I have no want for this tank long term, it will just be another holding tank while I work on the 300g BG.

I picked up 3 used Coralife T5 lights. They need some cleanup and a few new bulbs but all work. Two for the 300g and one for the 120g.

I robbed two of the Loc-Line lengths from the 300g and used them on the 120g so I could finish it's background. I wanted to replace them ASAP. These were $5 :naughty: and are soaking in vinegar/water right now and will be cleaned up/back on the 300g by tomorrow morning. Like it never even happened.

This is probably stupid to everyone but me but I wanted to find the lid to the HOB filter that came with my dad's tank (my 10 gallon) I am REALLY happy I found it, it took hours of searching through his garage but I found it. I decided to keep this filter going even once I get the new canister. It's a great way to acclimate pothos clones for other tanks.

This is one of the clones I took before I left. A couple days later it's already sprouting aquatic roots. :grinno: I'll get some pics of the 10 gallon tomorrow. It's looking awesome. It doesn't even have a light and the plants are doing awesome.

I got some things shipped to me that I will start working on tomorrow and get pics up for you guys tomorrow..

Awesome bro! Now the question is to start my own thread or hijack yours for my 20 gallon... Hmm!

I'll probably post a couple pics here and do my own thread... Maybe on the loach forum since it's a hillstream loach biotope... Of course, no one besides me and a couple other people even go on the loach forum!

Yay, glad you're back! That's a nice little 55g, and a good find. I'd devote that to my convict in a second. :)
