That 120 background is looking GOOD, Justin! The trunk part is really amazing. And I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I can't wait to see your 300g!!!!!!!! The combo of the dark decor and the orange heads is going to be beautiful... can't wait!!
Why thank you! I totally agree on the colors. You did a smash up good job on picking your BG against your fish colors too don't kid yourself. 7 more days till we see your tank
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry for the caps lock but dang I am proud of myself! Back a page or so I said I messed up on one of the sections of the 300 BG. Check it out, big crack... It seperated putting two of the panels together. It was really bothering me and less than 24 hours before I fill it, I think of a fix. Pond foam scraps...
I dug out some of the slices from carving the pond foam and with some of the thinner pieces made safe and easy filler for the crack.
I used a thin screw driver to push the thin slices of foam into the void about one inch at a time. It's not very easy to keep from cracking the BG pushing in foam with a screw driver so do it sober or it will look even worse than what you started with lolz..
It's not perfect but this is a macro shot with the flash on. Under water inside a tank it won't be visible at all. It turns out there is something you can do if you screw up. Some dude searching threads in the future is going to be stoked when they find this post.
Flash off in this shot. Grey on slightly different color grey doesn't pull the eyes attention like grey on uniform black line..
The branch over the bottom section posted above was a much thinner crack so I had to cut even thinner slices of foam but I am really happy that is fixed now.
^ look at that, almost like it never happened. Good thing I'm not affraid to show you guys when I screw up lol..
