That's awesome! Too bad they're hard to get, I guess next time someone I know goes to holland on vacation I'll have to send them on a lure hunt!

Nice, My favourite colours are firetiger, classic perch and orange tiger for murky water and firetiger flash and aussie frog for clear waters.
But I might need to warn you, these lures are an addiction. I started with just one and now I have every one of them, I even designed my own.

Went out this weekend, banged a total of 9 pikes and 2 perch.
Nothing over 20inch so no pictures.
All of the fish have been caught on a bomber 4A lure.

Went fishing yesterday, trying a new spot where we saw some monsterpikes recently.
When we came to the spot we found out that the water there was less then 45cm deep.
But just as we where about to give up, this monsterpike comes to the surface about 6feet away from me.
Pretty soon another one hits the surface about the same size.
I wasted no time and in a couple of seconds one of these beasts was on my line.
After a relatively short period of about 3-4minutes the fish gave up and my buddy was able to get hem on shore.
It had a huge head but was extremely skinny for its size and had a huge massive wound in around his gills.
After some photo's we released the fish back, hoping she would make it through the winter.
It isn't the biggest pike I'f caught but it's definitely the longest at 114cm/45inch.

Here a pic of the skinny animal, just take a look of the head of that thing:

Going out fishing tommorow, really excited about the first trip of 2014!

Have fun! Is it as warm in Holland as it is here?

I saw the biggest pike of my life in Holland. Easily 125 cm.

9-10 degrees Celsius, recently I became member of a facebookcommunity called XXLRaubfische there are a lot of monsterpike in Germany as wel!

Yeah it's 10 here, too. Hope it stays relatively warm.

Our pike here are quite nice, but generally Holland is a much better place to fish. Obtaining a license alone is a pain here.
