HOT Water
I have had no problems at all adjusting ours to eat thinly cut tilapia,,what I have noticed about acclimating these amazing cats is to take your time they can be shocked very easily,,also these cats do not do well at all if they are mishandled by the carrier,,IE dropped boxes by the airlines or being banged around during transport.

Mine will be here Friday, courtesy of Jurasic Aquatics. For the time being he will be housed with the Tigrinus I got from them. They are the same size. Hopefully I will have the 700 ready by the time he needs the space! I am pumped about this guy.

Congratulations on getting this amazing fish to feed.
You're over the 1st hurdle, keep doing what you are doing.
when they are happy & settled your fish will sit upright on the bottom perched on its fins.
Make sure your fish has plenty of Filtration & aeration & excellent water quality - cannot strees that enough.
They also like peaceful surroundings i.e Fish that are not going to bother them & a quite room :)

Im getting my slob tonight. Mike from Jurassic aquatics he got mine on talapia. He will be housed with polys in a 92 gal corner bow front in my living room. Has crazy filtration and i put a korlin fan for serculation. Im guessing these guys are like a tig and a jur. What ive read was they dont do well shipping. Thats the only worry i have.

thanks rob and maximus the pics won't load on my phone but since it came from JA i'm sure it looks great I don't know if this is true for others but mine seems to be very tolerant of human presence she doesn't try to bolt if I come near the tank or while doing water changes like some other species i've kept
