F1 castexi pups

Update: been a couple months, all are doing great. The first four have hit the 6-7 inch mark. And the other 8 have put on shy of an inch probably. I decided to move the larger four into my 300gal tank today. So I figured I'd snap some picks while they were out. First 4 pics are the older ones, f,m,f,m,. Next 4 pics are the younger males which I moved to the open pup bin. And the last 2 are bad pics of the 4 younger females, which I did not take out. I figured no sense stressing them. They are all on crawlers, and shrimp. Hopefully tilapia next. Pretty sure both mothers are holding again. But time to try to sell some. Hope u like the pics. Cheers.

I am waiting on a shipment supposed to come next week. It will have a pair of otorongo for a friend and am also bringing in their version of castexi and a pair of blue motoros.

They look so small in just a 300. Lol. Finally loving the space, growing fast. Just fed them. On shrimp and tilapia, as well as nightcrawlers now. Messy eaters.

Thank you. I haven't seen a single one for sale in about a year, and I'm constantly looking. Lol. Definitely glad I got the ones I have when they were around more.

Another 7 yesterday. 4 males and 3 females. These are from my larger female, and I believe my favorite male is the father this round based on patterns and contrast of colors. Fat and healthy. This was exactly THREE months from her last birth. Wondering if this is standard for castexis now. Don't believe my younger female has gotten pregnant again since the litter of 4. Forgot to take pics of 2 while transferring to the pup tanks.
