Pics in this thread.. can't find H20's old pics.. but I haven't seen a fish color morph that comes close to some of these.. but then being a big cat guy you might disagree

I see. I was confused being not familiar with "trops" being used for a tropical gar. There are only 4 pics remaining in that thread on the last page. Nice and proper addition to this thread. Very interesting looking gar... and I am a gar guy too. Cats+arowanas+oddballs. I need to widen my experience to perch-likes, cyprinids, characins, etc.
