Any other images which may not fit those rules can still be submitted, as they could be used for other smaller images throughout the book

My team and I are also working on a freshwater and marine issue for Life - Nature Magazine this Spring, one of the articles is about how semi-aggressive fish communicate and work out their own space in an aquarium where they can't swim their way out of trouble. The example used for this is the social hierarchies of Polypterid fish. Keep an eye out for the mag here if it's something you're interested in

Thank you. I feel pretty similar as far as looks go hard to beat, as well as body shape, just have yet to see one pushing 24 25 inches seem they tend to top out 18 20 range it seems so we should know soon enough mines getting there as I'm pretty sure yours is as well. mines about 16 ish now.

Interesting point on the size. Mine has been rhe slowest grower out of any lower jaw ive kept.I havent measured recently i feel like in tank measurements are soo inaccurate. I dont even think its 15 inches. I thought the slow growth was maybe because it was a male but now you make me think other wise. Maybe they just dont get large monsterous sizes or are a real slow growers. Who knows lol
