What do you feed tiny fry? We have a tank full of Rosy barb fry, they are the size of... well theyre really really small. Theyd be guppy fry food easily, and Im talking freshly born guppy fry. Is crushed egg yolk gonna feed them or is the java moss in the tank all Ive got for now? I have baby brine shrimp, but the fry are about the same size as the baby brine if not smaller. Any ideas?

Insofuria that grows in green water is good for those iti bity fry then after about 1-2wks crushed egg yolk. Just put some crunched up lettuce leaf in a glass then pour warm water over it and place on a window sill, when it goes green.... viola!

We're trying to make some green water now, not sure how long it will take but hope that in the mean time the abundant supply of java moss will feed them. We have baby brine and finely powdered spectrum grow formula for when theyre bigger. Have some tetra min baby fish food from ages ago too, not sure if it's still good.

Hikari sells a food called first bites a fry food.

:iagree:

wow this realy makes you look like a:newbie: (No offence)

Id feed them the spectrum grow we'd powdered but the powder, fine as it is, would probably be the size of the fry and I doubt they can consume something the size of their entire bodies :p. They seem to be doing fine after 2 days so I assume they have enough to eat in the plants.
