Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic for lining plywood tanks?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm about 75% complete with my current build, which is a double plywood FRP lined epoxy resin tank. It's a plywood tank in a plywood tank. Has Max Bond epoxy in the plywood joints. Used a FRP adhesive to bond the FRP to the inside plywood. Then poured fillets of MAX ACR epoxy resin in all the seams. Then poured 2 layers of epoxy resin over the FRP to make it fish safe. Then fiber glassed the outside of the tank.

Thought I would post here since my thread popped up. My FRP I had up and running for about a year. I had to move from that house and sadly built that tank into the room I made in the detached garage so I couldnt take the tank with me without destroying it. Never had a single drop leak from it, and was strong as they day I built it.
