I'm trying to decide if I should add fiberglass tape to the inside corners of a plywood tank for extra support. I'm going to seal the tank with Pond Armor. My understanding is that fiberglass tape isn't flexible enough to turn a sharp corner. For those of you who've used it, how do you build up a curved/radiused corner that the tape can bridge without bubbles appearing underneath? Wood putty?
The vertical joints in my tank are going to look like the pic below. The horizontal joints at the bottom are similar, but are butt joints instead of miters and will have a 1.5" X 0.75" brace instead of a 0.75" X 0.75"
