Actually, filipinos in this thread made it about race. They are going for Pac just because he is Filipino not because they care about boxing or who he is as a fighter. People who make sports about race seem to think that if their team/player/fighter wins or loses it is a measure of the race's worth. It is funny how they are already making excuses just in case he loses. Why do they have to do this? Personally, I like watching a sport and like to see a good match regardless of who wins or loses. I don't have to get all serious, make it about race, then make excuses or act belligerent because my fighter did not win. It's funny how you are trying to play stupid. It's obvious, don't think others are clueless when it comes to this type of thing. Point is, if Pac wins or loses does it really change anything?
What Filipinos are on this thread? It's natural to root for teams, countries, players that you can relate to btw but I don't think that's what happen in this thread

I'm Where I'm At
^ eddie, there's so many things wrong with that post you quoted, I'm not even gonna respond to it

LMAO of these people thinking there is some conspiracy against Pacquiao. People who make claims of BS conspiracy theories are those who lack confidence in their fighter so they make an excuse beforehand. So, if he loses it means he got a beat down fair and square.
I'm going to make my prediction:

IF Mayweather loses, then it is because the king of The Phillipines paid off the judges and referee.

flames people for making up bs conspiracy theories.

then go and make up own bs conspiracy theory

I seriously saw my 4 year old argue with my wife in the same exact way yesterday. she got punished and sent to her room. you need to go to your room too. unless your computer is in there. if so, then just go outside for some fresh air for about ten minutes

If the fight does not live up to allll the hype, boxing might as well close shop.

My money is on Floyd but my heart's with Manny! I think Manny will be stopped late in the rounds... but I hope he can land a Marquez haymaker :)

you'll still see the fight, don't lie
Probably, but as a extremely casual fan ... it has lost some of luster after Pacquiao got KO'd by Marquez. Had it happened before that, it would have been much more exciting.

This fight has almost no chance of living up to its hype. The months leading up to it will be far more exciting then the actual fight (and what a glorious ride this is going to be!). I mean for gods sake casual fans are talking boxing!

The only thing that could save it is a knock out but most of us know that's unlikely.

Haha this thread is getting funny.
Pacquiao got robbed against Bradley. A number of those rounds were close, but I had Manny up 8 rounds to 4 if I recall.
Mayweather took a split over De La Hoya that a lot of people thought he lost.
Boxing judges have a history of corruption, so conspiracy theories aren't that far fetched, especially when you're talking about the $$$$$$$$ involved. On top of that, there are a number of boxing judges that just suck at their job.
As others have said, this fight doesn't have the same impact that it would have in 2010, but I'll be watching.

Good to see Maxx still trolling about haha.

Nobody bothered to present facts because anyone who bothered to watch a fight and follow up on other people's perspective would know that judges often seem unexplainable "off".

Sumo might've been the only one legit asking about conspiracy theories. I think it's 2 fights no matter what so I'm not sure why you'd need to force pacquiao to win to make that happen. I can only see judges swaying it one direction to create a third match

Honestly, I really hope it doesn't go to the judges. I don't want to see an asterisk. Too often the underdog has to completely overwork the overwhelming favorite (as Tom said) especially when big money is involved.
