filtration suggestions for 180 gallon

Thanks for some great inputs you guys....Actually if i had the cash i would go with the eheim 2080, but right now i'm leaning towards the fx5, the rena xp4 have some terrible reviews online so that's off the charts and maybe that's why it sells a lot cheaper than the other filters. As for stocking it will be mainly community fish like tetras and i might get a group of angel fish...if i get the fx5 i will also hook up my eheim 2217 just for back up...

I wouldn't write off the xp4s, I have 2 of them that run perfect, never had a problem. Look around the forums here, people generally are very happy with them. Most of the problems people had were operator error.

My 180 has an xp4 full of bio and an Fx5 (3 trays bio, 1 mechanical) I do regular water changes and my water is perfect as well.

Get an Eheim classic series 2260 or 2262. I know BigAlsonline has the 2262.
