Finally a Tile Bottom

What where those rays that look somewhat white in the first post, do you still have them and do they stay that color?

They are flower rays from Columbia. I still have the pair. They get darker with age and eventually they will turn black inbetween the flowering in most cases
 
I guys here is my tiled aquarium bottom. Its polished granite. Its fine and i didn't experience any fish death.

I put the breeding pair of angels after a week of setting up this tank. I was nervous with the freshly cut polished granite. The fish were fine.

i liked the tile look. what made you decide to put the sand on it?

I went back to sand to give it a more natural look plus I wanted to have a lighter substrate to make my marbles lighten up. Bare bottoms and tile bottoms are easier to keep clean but do not do much as far as show. I have one sand tank and one bare bottom but think I am going to convert the bare bottom to sand as well
