Love your redhooks ; dorado are awesome fish. Grow up to be nice looking, but a pain to keep with other fish; they are mean as hell!

Yea I'm hoping mine continues to tolerate tankmates

Sad sad new l lost the dorado the other Day. I did my regular water change and I decided to add a piece of driftwood mounted on the glass wall. I added the wood right before bed time when the auto light timer cuts out and as soon as I add the wood and the lights go out the dorado freaks and smacks the lid and it was down hill from there. The other fish are still fine so I can only guess it was head trauma from freaking out. :/ feeling really bummed out about it.
