Pics to follow, He is eating mainly hikari cichlid gold and freeze dried krill. Also eating froozen blood worms, tetra crisps and gets live crickets once a week. Been trying to feed earth worms and market shrimp but will not accept food from my hand yet.

It has grown fast. He is over 9" now and was only 2.5 to 3 inches when I got him only 5 short months ago

Well in a couple days I will have had this guy for 5 months. Hard to call this guy a baby black anymore. Looks to be over 9 inches now, the red marks on the tap are 1 inch apart.

Sad to post that "Tilley", as my daughter had named him, is gone. He managed to slip out between the tank rim and plastic extrension off the top glass. The plastic was not completely secured to the glass.
