fire eel problems

the thing i did was adding meds
for bacteria and fungal
he then acted normal first day of treatment
these eels are hard to keep alive
water must stay perfect
first sign of acting different and heavy breathing
do a water change 20%
if next day still the same meds will be needed
dont let things slid with this fish

My fire eel is turning white in places like his color faded away. It doesn't appear to be a bacterial or fungal infection. Anybody know what might be happening.

Would start by checking ur water and posting pics of the wounds. List of tankamtes. Decor etc.
