My fire eel is 32 inches and has put on over 6 of that in a matter of months, I do not think it will slow down growing for some time yet

Yes mine is about 40 inches and still growing.. my experience is they don’t make good pets unless u have a massive aquarium

I now have 3 in my 8 foot 400 gallon tank. They are only 6 inches and are just babies. I'm hoping they grow up together and I can keep them all. If not, I'm sure I can find a happy home for 2 of them. They are fantastic. Easily my favourite fish in the tank.
