First time buyer from aquascape

Dont let this sour you to the online buying experience, as there some great vendors out there. I personally have zero experience with this particular company, so I cant comment on past history. In the future, most vendors accept PayPal and they will really protect their consumers...
If its any consolation I will probably base my opinion of them on this transaction, and I was eying up black rays before they stopped updating the website.
Agreed,there are great vendors out there...on MFK and otherwise.I have dealt with quite a few of them with mostly satisfactory results including Aquascape.
I might as well go on and say it;like I said earlier I did not previously see the photos that Aquascape posted which showed the condition that the fish was in.If I was interested in the fish I would have inquired about that as I probably would not have wanted to be sent a visibly sick fish.....on the other hand,the fish should not have been sold in that condition unless there was some kind of understanding between the buyer and vendor.
Ya man, you lost all credibility when you brought up whether the owner has a drug addiction. You have absolutely zero evidence of that. Now I wouldn't do anything for you if I were the seller, I would have probably refunded either price of fish or shipping if you didn't basically call him a retard. Fish get stressed during shipping, nursing a shipped fish back to health is not unheard of. I do agree with you that the shipping of this fish was sketchy however. Almost sounds like they knew something and we're stalling. Just speculating of course.
Don't let it get you down. Forget about it. We all go though crap sometimes. I as well as everyone has acted out of anger which never helps. It's good to give people a chance and the benefit of the doubt until it's obvious they are taking advantage or don't deserve it. Take this whole situation and how you responded as a learning experience. Focus your attention on taking care of that bad boy! I'm sure with some tlc he'll be a beauty. Wishing you the best of luck!

t necessarily saying he was a drug addict I was just listing off reasons why a person might act shady. Maybe that's just how they run their business and that's how they like it. Just based on what I've heard about aquascape in the past and how it is now, it seems like there must be trouble going on somewhere? Who knows?
Yeah I'm done complaining whatever happens happens. I don't expect anything out of aquascape so I just need to get the fish healthy and forget about all this. Thanks again everyone. I'll give an update if anything happens. Hopefully soon I'll be able to put up some pictures of a healthy fish.

Yeah I need to apologize to this forum and to aquascape for my email. It was out of anger and frustration and I should have calmed down before writing anything. I'm not an angry, mean person and the email I wrote was out of character. I'm still not happy with the whole situation but getting angry isn't going to fix anything.
