Hi ev some of you might remember me from my 120 gallon cichlid tank I decided to only put my Oscar in it and rehired all my other fish I’ve just got this new 250 gallon tank and I was wondering can I put 1 kelberi p bass 1 Florida gar and some other tank mates in there would that be ok or do I need a bigger tank

A lot of unanswered questions here. Tank is 250 but what are the dimensions? What are the avarage adult sizes of the fish you'd like to keep? If say the tank is 8×2 then I think both of your main fish ideas will be a no. I haven't owned pbass I don't care for how they look so I don't know exact adult size but I think 20" isn't impossible. That would give the fish 4" front to back imo not enough. I know the gar can easily exceed that length so again no.

I think the kelberi bass would be fine if it’s 8x2. Average Florida gar ranges from 18-24” so a 2ft width wouldn’t be ideal

Yeah I don't know alot about pbass they really don't interest me. I have seen some vary large specimens over 20", don't know if kelberi get that size or not.

Kelberi are one of the smaller peacock bass species only reaching about 16-20” in captivity
