dr exum dr exum Thank you. Because my wife and I funded the venture with our own retirement savings (so we are debt-free), we cannot do a non-profit but only a Corporation C. But what kind of venture it is is irrelevant to obtaining a business operational license, relying on patron traffic and charging admission - Inc, LLC, partnership, non-profit, it doesn't matter, no one has even asked me this yet at the County in all the 11 years.

On a personal level, everyone is for it but law is the law and that's generally a good thing. Everyone jumps through the same hoops.
