We started out at the "amazon" aka Mill stone river. The water was way higher then normal and the current crazy strong. So add that in with brown colored water and thats makes for a long day. We lasted 4 hours then jumped over to "Carnegie Lake"

It too was very muddy too but without the heavy current. The fish were not active at all but at 5:47 I was able to land a small bass. I have the pic but I not going to bother.

VERY SLOW day but hopefully tomorrow at Lake wood will be better!!

Caught about 5 today and got thrown off of about 4, predominately finesse with slowly fishing a wacky worm in about a foot of water. It was an ok day.

great day today in the pine barrens for chain pickerel went with a group of friends i caught 2, had 4 followers that i missed and in total we landed 8 i think and missed many hook ups lol

I hit double digits for the first time this year

The day started off at Lakewood, we were on the water at 8:45. There was another boat already out there. We asked the guy(Mike) on the boat had he caught anything and he told us a 3 pounder and a 4 pounder on a sexy shad plastic swim bait. He also told us about another lake that we didnt know about that was only 20 minutes away. Dennis wanted to pack up and head over there cause Mike made the place seem like a fishermen dream. I said na lets just stay here and see what we get. Well at 3 o'clock the only action we seen was a small bass I got on the spinny. I said forget this and did a google map search and came up with the directions to "lake Riviera".

Mike cleary said they had boat ramp. Well when we finally found the lake there isnt a boat ramp. Man was I heated but after fishing from the shore(missed a CP) for a few minutes I found a place were would beable to back the boat up in to. I didnt stay mad at Mike for long cause in the first ten minutes on the water Dennis and I both caught one. I went on to catch 6 more bass, and two small CP's. Dennis also was able to land another little bass before we gave up for the day.

Man Mike didnt lie when he said the fishing at "Lake Rivievra" was great. It produced the best fishing trip of the year so far!!

Nothing big today but man was it fun!!!

The thing is this is the time of year when you can get a fish for eery cast but because of the lake being down about 16 feet all my honey holes are high and dry so im going to have to find some new tactics

opening day for trout today here in SE pa......i got one brown trout and one rainbow along with a sunny and about 8 creek chub...pretty entertaining day

chubs on a fly rod are mad fun to catch get a small poper from walmart or something (theyre dirt cheap and are pretty good) and tie on a dropper below to popper like a czech nymph and its chub after chub after sunnie lol do this all the time in rosedale lake
