how long did it take you to train your datnoides to eat hikari massivore?

well i bought the thinbars when they were fairly small and grew them out on live and blood worms for ~2 months. then i moved on to blood worms and then market shrimp. once they were one shrimp it took maybe a week at most to starve them onto pellets. i probably coulda just straight starved them onto pellets but i added ngts a few months after the thinbars, then when the indo craze hit i bought a bunch of those so there was no way i could just starve the thinbars without probably killing off my other new babies. it did help that the thinbars stopped eating bloodworms after a certain size.
it does help when one datnoid starts taking pellets tho. if one guy is eating pellets the others get curious also and it just makes it easier. the hardest was getting the ngt on pellets, that took a little longer.
try starting on carnivore if you have smaller dats and see what happens. just be patient and im sure u can do it too.
