What’s you usual water change rate? What’s the feeding schedule? What’s the tank size?
The cloudy eye looks like popeye to me. Generally, that’s best treated with an antibiotic. Maracyn 1 is best for eye issues, but kanaplex also works.

I remember not changing water for a month or two as I was not in town and mum was feeding them
Tank size is 70 gal 1 small parrot small flower horn and a small pleco that’s the stock

Straight to the water is generally good, but it’s advised to do so in a qt tank (allows for less waste of meds and less risk of damage.

That will lead to some chronic issues and easier infection, but won’t outright cause the issue. Increased water changes will help the healing process and prevent further issues though. Overtime that stock may not work out (flowerhorns tend to make sure they’re the only fish in the tank).

I’ll make sure to change the stock overtime
And do continuous water change

You can, just be aware you may see cycling issues afterwards.
