Here is Reimahg. ..This is what he is doing...

http://youtu.be/o5fce5MDPZ0

he is not is a quarantine tank...As I did not want to move him and stress him...he is in a 55 gallon tank with perfect water conditions. ..maybe a little nitrate...not much...I have done a 50 percent water change. ..and added 50 gram of metro+... should I let him be?...or move to a 20 gallon and treat with epsom salt only?

Just add epsom salt to the 55 gallon ........... and follow Dr. Noga's directions for the amount of Metro to use.

The OP is already treating with Metronidazole, which is the main ingredient in Parasite Guard. The other active ingredients in Parasite Guard (Praziquantel, Dflubenzuron, and Acriflavin) will at this point be of no use to this fish, and may add extra stress to an already stressed out fish. As an example, Dflubenzuron is used to treat anchor worm and fish lice.

Rd...appreciate your help...I just went to the store and got some epsom salt. ..I do not know how much to add to my 55...but will research the amount and add it asap

add approx 1 to 3 teaspoons per 5 gallons

I'll go with two...rd...up until the most recent water change. ..aquarium salt was used...so 50 percent of water has aquarium salt...should this mater?

not really, but I wouldn't add any more salt. Adding sodium chloride is kind of counter productive at this point.

Ok...I just added a half dose for a 55 by adding 10 teaspoons...I will add another ten...and add no aquarium salt until he is happy

Good luck, hopefully that's all you need to turn things around. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
