I never have said it was a trimac but it looks alot like a trimac so if i wanted a trimac which are hard to find and the price was right then i would buy that fish.my point was how does one really prove that they have a pure trimac in the first place. yes they have some differences but like the red devil it is hard to say it is a pure fish even with all features can you say that it is pure

Thats the whole thing, you can't technically prove it. But just because it looks like a Trimac does not make it so, as I said low quality ZZ Flowerhorn look like Trimac. Stores typically only carry low quality ZZ Flowerhorn. Wholesale/stores are more likely to carry Flowerhorn than Trimac. He bought the fish as a Flowerhorn. Using logic, it makes more sense to call it a Flowerhorn than it does to call it a Trimac. It would be one thing if he bought it as a Trimac but he didn't.

No, they arent rare. Maybe hard to get sometimes, but not rare. Ill bet you can find them from several different REPUTABLE vendors online right now.
