FLUVAL 203 FILTERS, DO THEY WORK?

Since I have owned the 403, I have had the 305 and the 05 series is a huge improvement from the 03 series, so everybody commenting on how good the fluvals in the 05 series are, are absolutely correct the 05 series is great, but IMO you cannot compare it to the 03 series.

The 203 is a decent filter, but, you can easily get much, much better!!! Still, if they are only $20, I can understand why you are considering them. FWIW, I'd "just say no". I think you'd be much happier with the modern x05 series.

I know the fluvals have their problems, but I have used them for 15 years and they are pretty solid once you figure them out. I like the many options they offer for media. I have like one of each size and style. All have their quirks, but still for 20 bucks, I say try em out. if you hate it you're only out 20 bucks
