Fluval U4 underwater filter help

Hello, I have the Fluval U4 filter and when I moved it to the side of my tank the spray bar and bottum jet stopped working only the top will, I don't understand why they stopped when they were working fine 10 mins ago on the back of my aquarium. Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone know what I can do to fix it, or what I did to make it not work anymore? thank you
 
Did you inadvernantly turn the adjustment knob? Thereby changing the output flow to the top nozzle only? I.e. there are three settings if i'm not mistaken A, B and C, which is a choice between top output only, spray bar, or bottom, or something along those lines.

This would be my guess.
 
possibly check your impeller too... and like redearsunfish said check the adjustment valve... what kind of substrate are you using? if sand... check and clean your impeller too...
 
Ive turned it to b and c they wont work anymore but a works perfectly fine. I have gravel
 
i have no idea, i thought maybe it was the filters so I replaced them and it still didnt do anything :/ I just dont get it. It worked fine on the back side of the tank, all I did was move it to the side so it would get the whole tank and it quit working :/
