Dear friends,

This is my friend's tank. Suddenly, his Fogo is swimming like this, and sometimes it stays at the bottom. Because of this, the fish was eating very little in the main tank. So, he moved the fish to a hospital tank, but its appetite hasn’t changed much.

How can I help this fish recover?

Id suggest no live feeders. Water changes 50% twice a week. Dose some pure epsom salt and monitor the stool. Consider levamisole if it’s available. See what bassinmike85 bassinmike85 recommends.

Tank temp 86F - 88F agreed with kno4te kno4te but i would treat for internal parasites first with prazipro. stop with feeding live feeders.

Thanks for the instructions. Can you tell me how to mix Levamisole with water for use?

Thanks. In my country, I couldn't find it, but I found Prazi Gold. Hopefully, this will work the same. I'll follow the instructions. Thank you again!

This is one of my tanks. This one is also showing symptoms—could it be the same issue? It doesn't have any odd swimming patterns but tends to stay at the bottom.

Are you also feeding feeders? Is it getting bullied by the other cichla?
